Tāmata Hauhā, a New Zealand-based company, is dedicated to restoring land, empowering people, and enhancing prosperity through innovative carbon forestry and solar farming initiatives.
Their mission, encapsulated in the Māori phrase he whenua, he tāngata, he taurikura (the land, the people, the prosperity), emphasizes a deep commitment to sustainable land use and community well-being.
To effectively communicate this vision and engage with both Māori and English-speaking audiences, Tāmata Hauhā required a website that seamlessly integrates cultural narratives with modern functionality.
We project managed the translation process end-to-end – working closely with trusted Māori translators and coordinating the seamless integration of both languages into the CMS to ensure accuracy, respect, and ease of use.
The resulting design not only reflects their core values but also delivers an intuitive and immersive bilingual experience that honours te ao Māori and connects with diverse audiences.

Copy & imagery to Tell the Story. Powerful words and visuals work together to express the brand’s mission, people-focus, and connection to the whenua.
